Raising Animals Sustainably & Responsibly. We are passionate about pasture raising all our livestock and poultry. Our animals get ample amounts of sunshine and fresh air. We have a regenerative approach to agriculture. Rotational grazing methods are used during the spring and summer months. If the grass is green- they are on it. Our livestock are free to leisure around eating organically grown grasses. Our poultry are supplemented with feed from a local Amish mill that is grown without genetic modification. Manure left by the stock helps fertilize the pasture. We utilize this method of rotational grazing as much as weather permits. |
Cornish Cross Broilers
We raise Cornish Cross meat chickens on pasture. They are a cross between a Cornish and a Plymouth white rock. We move them twice daily to fresh pasture, while the birds get their fill of grass and bugs, and fertilize the pasture with their manure. We supplement there diet with non-gmo grain from a local Amish mill.
Maremma/ Great Pyrenees LGD'sWe use our livestock guardian dogs to protect our livestock and poultry from predators such as coyotes, hawks, coons and other destructive predators. They are trained to be gentle and protective of the stock at all times.
